Children/Youth Outreaches
Breaking Free Children and Youth Services seeks to build a strong foundation in the gospel, shaping Christian character, morals, values, and behaviors in our children and youth. We use creative and innovative methods to excite, inspire, and capture their imagination while igniting a passion for Jesus.
Our goal is to help children and youth understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him alone. We aim to build a strong foundation of faith that empowers them to express and share their faith through their words, actions, and deeds. We also encourage them to use their unique talents in programs and ministries that interest them, nurturing their faith and personal growth.
Scott, Breaking Free’s Founder and CEO, has been approved by several Independent School Districts in Collin County, Texas, which serve a total of 180,000 children and youth. Some of the services Breaking Free offers include:
-
Special events in communities and churches
-
Speaking engagements in schools, clubs, and PTA associations
-
Family counseling when needed
If you would like to serve with us in this special ministry or donate resources, please email scottmormon@gmail.com. All volunteers must have a current background check to serve within Breaking Free Children and Youth Services.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADES 4th-5th
Breaking Free substance use prevention teaches 4th-5th grade children to follow healthy lifestyles and avoid drug use. This drug prevention program for young children is implemented by our staff in person or virtually. We support children on how to avoid drugs by giving them a toolbox of knowledge and refusal skills.
MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADES 6th-8th
These programs target middle school-age groups who are particularly vulnerable to using gateway drugs such as tobacco, vapes, alcohol, marijuana, and prescription drugs. These substance use prevention programs are carefully designed to motivate students to resist, say no to drugs, and help them make healthier decisions.
HIGH SCHOOL GRADES 9th-12th
This program provides students in grades 9-12 with the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy decisions and resist the pressure to use drugs. This comprehensive substance use prevention addresses communication, decision-making, risk reduction, problem-solving, and goal setting to empower high school students to avoid drug use and resist drug addiction.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
This program is for school groups or clubs that meet before or/and after school.
